Quantizing Effects: The Liminal Art of Jim Campbell

The Beall Center launches its "Foundation of the New Media Arts" series, introducing audiences to the artists who have made a profound impact on the development of the medium. Jim Campbell, a New Media artist with an international reputation, creates electronic works of wide ranging exploration and experimentation. His work is both visual and visceral - mapping the contours of the analog and digital, the body and object, and the passive and interactive.
