This conversation will address how artists, programmers, innovators, and musicians are inspired by the idea of scores, and the various interpretations of scored compositions, improvisation, and/or patterns. The Beall Center for Art + Technology’s related exhibition – "Drawn from a Score" – presents a historical survey of artworks inspired by this practice. Speakers will be recruited from the departments of Music, Studio Art, Computer Sciences/Informatics, and may also Beall Center exhibition artists. A full speaker list will be published prior to the event.

Registration is open now through the UCI Illuminations Events Page.
