The Beall Center for Art + Technology provides ambitious S.T.E.A.M.-based educational programming for K-12 students, as well as UCI undergraduates and community educators. We rely on grants, sponsorships, and individual gifts to keep our programs running FREE of charge to our participants. With a special emphasis on underserved schools, community centers, and organizations, we strive to provide workshops, tours, and special events that focus on the intersections between science, technology, engineering, art, and math. You can help impact a future innovator's education by supporting the Beall Center today!
The UC Irvine Foundation (through which these donations are processed) is a 501c(3) non-profit organization. Your gift qualifies for tax-deduction in accordance with IRS regulations during the calendar year that you make your gift. Consult your tax professional for more information. Donors will receive a letter of thanks for their records, as well as recognition on the Beall Center's website.

The Beall Center makes sure that our exhibition tours are free and available to everyone - whether it's for an individual, or a class of 150 kids! Help support the cost of our UCI student docent program so that we can continue to educate our visitors about art + technology!
Sometimes technology is best expressed with a helping hand from the arts! Make sure our Maker Space is fully stocked with a diverse selection of art supplies for our Expressive Robotics camp students (ages 13-19).
Make sure our Expressive Robotics summer camp students (ages 13-19) have the core Vex robotics materials needed to start their imaginative projects.
You can make sure visitors of all ages know the inspiring history of art + technology. By sponsoring this program activity, you will ensure that we can continue to educate K-12 students, parents, and educators about this fascinating field at no cost.
Summer camp kids of all ages love our brand new mobile 3D printing lab! Our 3D printers help K-12 students learn CAD software, design principles, and art theory in addition to how this technology can be used in both creative and industrial settings. Talk about career development!
Our younger visitors love participating in our Coding + Design workshops (for ages 8-12), in which they learn about programming, coding, art, design, animation, and computer development. Kano computers are specially designed for kids, and help us accommodate large classes during the workshops that we host on campus and in classrooms around Orange County!
Our workshops focused on Coding + Design (ages 8-12) and Creative Electronics (ages 8-19), as well as our S.T.E.A.M. Campus Tours (all ages) are more popular than ever! These events teach kids the basics of the S.T.E.A.M. fields (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) and how they can work together to achieve incredible possibilities. By sponsoring a workshop or campus tour, you can help continue to make this program free for underserved K-12 classes and families.
Help a Coding + Design camper (ages 8-12) attend one of our summer sessions! Your sponsorship will provide them with full tuition for a week of our unique S.T.E.A.M. curriculum - which delves into art and design theories, coding, programming, and artistic applications of technology. Camper sponsorships are reserved for campers that apply for assistance through our need and merit-based scholarship program.
Even with our free public programs, we find that many classrooms cannot visit the UCI campus due to prohibitive transportation costs. By removing this barrier, we can help young students learn about the pathways to higher education by bringing them to campus. Help give K-12 students the university experience by transporting them to UCI for S.T.E.A.M.-focused campus tours, workshops, lectures, and exhibition tours!
Make the dream of attending our in-depth Expressive Robotics summer camp (for ages 13-19) possible for one middle or high school student. Campers will work with our unique curriculum and UCI student instructors to learn about robotics, coding, programming, building, and art principles to make robotic structures that move expressively. Campers are also taught about possible S.T.E.A.M. careers from our professional guest speakers, studio visit simulations, and field trips during the camp session. Camper sponsorships are reserved for campers that apply for assistance through our need and merit-based scholarship program.
Help us provide another free resource to our K-12 teachers, community center programming teams, and home-school parents that allows them to network with peers, find valuable resources for the classroom, and get S.T.E.A.M.-centric ideas for their lesson plans. Workshops are always hosted on weekends and evenings for busy professionals.
You can make an exciting, fun, and educational day of camp possible for nearly 30 campers! This sponsorship covers the cost of our UCI student staff and selected materials for one full day of Coding + Design (ages 8-12) or Expressive Robotics (ages 13-19) summer camp. Your generosity will create memories of a lifetime, and give our campers the best possible resources during their summer enrollment with the Beall Center.
Give the gift of on-the-job training to one of our ten UCI undergraduate student docents. Our docents are extensively trained to work with visiting K-12 classes, lead exhibition tours, and work with professional artists. Through this program, they develop life-long professional skills such as public speaking, event planning, marketing, leadership, and teaching. This sponsorship helps the Beall Center provide additional training and working opportunities for our talented student staff so that they are best prepared for careers after graduating from UCI.
